Rescinding the Definition of “Harm” Under the Endangered Species Act

by | Jun 2, 2025 | ESA, Liberty Matters | 0 comments

Rob Gordon, Advisor to CFACT, writes how the U.S. Fish and Wildlife’s definition of harm needs to be eliminated.

He also submitted comments on behalf of CFACT (Committee For A Constructive Tomorrow) in response to the United States Fish and Wildlife Service’s (USFWS) and National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) April 17, 2025 Federal Register Notice of a Proposed Rulemaking (NPR) regarding Rescinding the Definition of “Harm” Under the Endangered Species Act (ESA).

“The proposed rule would eliminate the USFWS’s and NMFS’s self-corrupting definitions of the term harm.”
