No one was better qualified than the Father of our Nation, George Washington, to declare the unique divine favor our nation has experienced since the signing of the Mayflower Compact. We have just witnessed this miracle again with the election of President Trump and the conservative trifecta.
Washington was divinely protected throughout his lifetime, yet he remained extraordinarily humble. He understood well that he was not the object of that protection, but rather it was what he was fighting for, “the liberties of America,” that God was securing.
President Trump has survived two assassination attempts that we know of. He continues to prevail against the deep state committed to destroy him. But they have not prevailed because he has demonstrated his commitment to our freedom, and God has protected our modern day warrior for liberty.
Over the next four years we must all rise to the challenge ahead and continue to be warriors for the precious liberties of America. We cannot rest. We cannot look to our leaders to carry the water for us. We must be the Stewards of Liberty our nation requires now.
Lean in to this moment. Eternal vigilance is our responsibility. Freedom is our blessing. God’s favor is our promise.
