New Release: The Muleshoe Land Grab Video

by | May 19, 2025 | Muleshoe, 30x30, Conservation Easements, Liberty Matters

We have just released a new video that tells the story of the Muleshoe Wildlife Refuge expansion – an attempt to federalize 700,000 private land acres in Texas and New Mexico. American Stewards has spent nearly a year working with landowners, county commissioners, mayors, and state and federal legislators, including U.S. Representative Jody Arrington (R-TX), to stop the expansion of the Muleshoe National Wildlife Refuge.

We are closer than ever to getting the Refuge expansion shut down.  This was part of Biden’s 30×30 agenda to take and control as much private land as possible.

ASL spent time in Texas Panhandle and southeastern New Mexico interviewing and filming landowners, county commissioners, their school superintendent and local businessmen to produce this short documentary. It tells the story of how this plan was put into place without the knowledge of local elected leaders or the landowners, and how if not removed, it will destroy the community.

Our goal is to get President Trump and his Secretary of Interior Doug Burgum to issue a Secretarial Order to rescind this program and to help Chairman Arrington pass H.R. 839, which not only rescinds the plan but also prohibits the federal government from attempting to expand the refuge in the future.

Watch our video on the Muleshoe National Wildlife Refuge.  Share this with your friends and federal representatives to get this program shut down.
