In a national survey of 1,000 Registered Voters, RMG Research, Inc. asked the American people where they stood on the Green New Deal, 30×30 and natural resource development. The results show Americans do not support the lock up of America’s land.
Question One:
The first question asked if they supported President Biden’s Green New Deal where the administration has spent billions of taxpayer dollars on giveaways to various organizations and companies for conservation projects. Voters were asked whether Biden’s Green New Deal should be continued or ended.
A clear majority of 60 percent said it should be ended, with 22% wanting it to be continued and 18 % not sure. A majority thinks the Green New Deal is a farce and should not be continued. This is one issue President-elect Donald Trump has said he would not support and will hopefully stop these programs dead in their tracks.
Question Two:
The second question discussed placing permanent restrictions on at least 30 percent of America’s land and water, including water on private property. People were asked whether they were in favor or opposed to placing restrictions on private property.
55% either strongly opposed or somewhat opposed with 26% in favor and 16% not sure. Again, a clear majority of Americans oppose restrictions that hinder future growth, harm job creation, and block private recreation like boating, hunting, and fishing.
Question Three:
The third question addressed how President Biden through various federal fiats like his 30×30 Executive Order, Monument designations, and federal agency’s Land Protection Plans, have all blocked access to critical minerals and natural resources needed for national security.
59% agreed that unlocking these resources was necessary to protect our nation’s status as the world’s greatest superpower. 23% disagreed and 19% weren’t sure.
Overall, it appears Americans are fed up with all the restrictions on our land and natural resources and are ready to usher in a new era of responsible stewardship of the land while creating new wealth and prosperity for our country.
