Missouri Wins Lawsuit Against China

by | Mar 24, 2025 | Farmers and Ranchers, Liberty Matters

The State of Missouri won a lawsuit under the Foreign Sovereign Immunities Act, passed by Congress in 1976, that creates mechanisms for identifying, seizing and selling assets of a foreign power to satisfy lawful judgments.

The state prevailed in the federal appeals court and at trial claiming China was responsible for the Covid-19 pandemic and will now start to identify and acquire court orders to seize Chinese assets to cover the $24,488,825,457.00 verdict.

Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey said he will work with the Trump administration to seize assets and farmland. China failed to show up for the trial and refuses to cooperate with the State. China owns about 384,000 acres of farmland in the U.S.
