United Nations Perpetuates Climate Hoax, Then Builds Road Through the Amazon Rainforest

by | Nov 17, 2025 | Liberty Matters

This month, elite climate proponents will be flying from around the world in their personal jets to Balem, Brazil, located in the Amazon Rainforest, to have their 30th gathering of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change known as COP30.

This 30th “reunion” is the direct descendant from the 1992 “Earth Summit” held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, where 179 countries and non-governmental organizations signed the blueprint for “international action on the environment.”

President George H. W. Bush personally attended the Rio Summit and committed the United States by signing both the UN Climate Change and the UN Biodiversity treaties aimed at “climate action” and “nature-based solutions” to save the Earth from man-made disasters.

One of those “solutions” was to protect the world’s forests from being cut down so they would continue to sequester carbon dioxide produced from the use of fossil fuels and methane from cattle operations.  This included the South American Amazon Rainforest, claiming saving it would benefit animal and plant life crucial to a stable climate.

But earlier this year, the Brazilian government carved an eight-mile long, four-lane highway through the rainforest so the 50,000 COP30 attendees could land their jets and ride in comfort to their meeting.

As reported in Just the News, Claudio Verequete, a local resident who used the forest to make a meager living, stated:  “Everything was destroyed.  Our harvest has already been cut down.  We no longer have that income to support our family.”

Global Tipping Points, an international environmental organization supported in part by Jeff Bezos and the World Wildlife Foundation, has published a report for the attendees of the COP30 entitled “Global Tipping Points Report of 2025.”  In the report, they promote solutions on how to “govern Earth system tipping points, the risks they pose, and the opportunities” to act.

One of their main case studies of their report claims “the Amazon is approaching ecological tipping points due to interacting climate and land-use feedbacks that threaten to trigger large-scale forest degradation and regime shifts in the range of 1.5 degrees celsius global warming.”

They claim the Earth is at 1.4 degrees celsius and is about to pass their threshold of 1.5 degrees causing glaciers to melt and sea levels to rise, and worldwide destruction!

One of their main “solutions” states “the amazon forest holds global significance as a biocultural and climatic-regulating system: safeguarding it requires urgent, justice-centered strategies…”

President Trump blasted the Brazilian government on Truth Social stating:  “They ripped the hell out of the Rainforest of Brazil to build a four lane highway for Environmentalists to travel. It’s become a big scandal!”

Apparently, cutting an eight-mile, four-lane highway through to forest to benefit COP30 attendees can be overlooked as essential to solving the world’s impending climate disasters.

Quote of the Week

“Carbon dioxide is not the villain it’s made out to be. It is a life-giving molecule, the very foundation of photosynthesis, agriculture and ecosystem health. Modern prosperity—from hospitals to schools to clean drinking water—depends on energy and, for now, that energy overwhelmingly comes from hydrocarbons. Denying that truth does nothing beneficial for the environment; it simply prolongs suffering for the world’s poor and makes everybody’s energy more expensive.”
