10 Principles for Land, Liberty, and Property

by | Dec 18, 2024 | 30x30, Liberty Matters

There is a fundamental connection between land and liberty, and the 10 core principles developed by the Property Rights Task Force will help usher in a new era of prosperity in America.

Our American Constitution is one of the greatest documents ever conceived by man.  The property rights protections enumerated by the Fifth Amendment have provided We the People with tremendous opportunity to accumulate land, create wealth, and control our government.

Today, however, the federal, state, and local governments own nearly 40 percent of our land in America with the federal government holding 28 percent and constantly acquiring more.  We can no longer, as a country, allow the administrative state to grow.  We are becoming a socialist nation.

It’s that growth of government and the expansion of their landholdings that is destroying our liberty and taking away our ability to own, produce, and accumulate wealth.  Owning land gives us autonomy, secures our freedom, and gives us power over our government.

After our first “Stop 30×30 Summit” held in Lincoln, Nebraska in 2022, we formed the Property Rights Task Force comprised of national organizations, county commissioners, state legislators, and private property rights advocates.

Over the course of a year and a half, we developed 10 key principles calling for the full Constitutional protection of property rights.
